At 16:07 on Wednesday, 11 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.
Reports of fire in field which proved to be cut straw on fire. Two fire crews attending incident with a request for additional appliance. Incident involved 100 metres by 20 metres of straw and hedgerow. Fire crews used 4 hose reel jets to extinguish fire
