Small amount of smoke issuing from grass verge and conifer trees. Crews damped down with one hose reel jet.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Baschurch.
Fire Service personnel searched the area and there were no signs of smoke or fire. This incident was a false alarm with good intent.

At 17:36 on Thursday, 3 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Minsterley.
6 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Clun, Craven Arms, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. Operations, Safety and Specialist Advisor officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Main jet
- Thermal imaging camera
Large incident involving 500 meters by 200 meters of grass and gorge alight. Crews have used main jets, hose reel jets and fogging units to extinguish and control the spread of fire. Crews also operated a drone to asses the scale and spread of fire. Crews have been checking areas for hotspots using a thermal imaging camera.

On arrival crews found lithium iron battery's smouldering, crews submerged the battery's and located them away from the building, advice given to business owner.
