At 15:41 on Monday, 3 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Main jet

Controlled burn which has got out of control. 200-300 sq meters of gorse and undergrowth on fire.
