At 13:24 on Tuesday, 13 March, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Telford.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Most kitchen fires occur when people are distracted or leave things unattended.
- Never use a toaster under a shelf or kitchen cupboard - pull it out from under the cupboard when in use.
- Don't hang wet or damp tea towels on the cooker to dry.
- Dirty grill pans and ovens cause fires. Help keep them clean.
- When using a microwave read the cooking instructions carefully, ensure you don't put in any metal objects.
- Kettles can cause serious burns from the steam, make sure you don't lean over the kettle when it'.s boiling.

At 02:44 on Tuesday, 27 February, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Bridgnorth.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
Crews from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer have dealt with a kitchen fire using 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and a covering jet. All persons accounted for. British Red Cross Emergency Response team now en route to assist occupiers.

- Oxygen first aid
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .
Fire involving frying pan in kitchen, out on arrival, inspection only. One person receiving oxygen therapy from fire service personnel
