At 15:55 on Wednesday, 12 August, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Gas Leak in Ellesmere.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Wem. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Thermal imaging camera
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police and a utility company.
This incident involved one propane cylinder venting off due to the heat.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.
Attending crews used the following equipment:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
Crews attended reports of liquid nitrogen leaking from factory unit. Crews wearing two breathing apparatus and thermal gauntlets isolated valve to stem leak. A cordon was put in place prior to this isolation.
