At 14:58 on Wednesday, 3 September, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in St. Martins.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Oswestry and Shrewsbury.

One calf made own way out of canal, no Fire Service action
