2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of bus on fire which proved to be caused by engine failure causing smoke. No equipment was used by fire crews.

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

One large vehicle alight on westbound carriageway. Fire service personnel have extinguished.
