2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Short extension ladder
• Small gear

Fire in heating unit above doorway, crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan, small tools and a short extension ladder to extinguish.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Incident involved a small fire in communal area which was out on arrival, crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish.

At 06:47 on Wednesday, 13 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Bishops Castle.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Clun. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Small quantity of smoke involved in hopper at this premises. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera. A hazardous materials officer was also in attendance due to a product being unidentifiable in the hopper, this product was moved to a suitable container in clean air to be diluted and mixed with fine water spray.

One shed alight containing lithium iron batteries, crews were assisted by 1 appliance from our neighboring brigade West Midlands/Staffordshire Fire. Crews extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, 1 covering jet and a thermal imaging camera.
