At 16:08 on Tuesday, 4 August, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Railway Embankment in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Fire involving wooden railway sleeper used as pedestrian crossing over railway tracks. Crews damping down and cutting away, Severn Valley Railway contacted and will attend to make safe.
