At 15:18 on Wednesday, 3 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire in Hallon near Worfield, Bridgnorth .

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Telford Central.

Fire involving tractor in field. Tractor fully involved in fire and fire spread to approximately 1 acre of cut straw. 2 jets, 1 hose reel jet and numerous beaters in use to extinguish fires.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

1 tractor 100% destroyed by fire. Crews were supported at this incident by Hereford and Worcester fire service.
