At 10:57 on Friday, 31 August, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire in Hall of the Forest, Newcastle.
3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Clun and Wellington.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Environment Agency.
1 tractor 100 % destroyed by fire.

At 14:02 on Sunday, 15 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire in Winnington near Halfway House.
1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.
Fire involving 1 baler and approximately 10 m x 3m of stubble in field. 2 hose reel jets and thermal imaging camera used to extinguish fire and check for hot spots.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.
Fire involving one tractor with trailer attached, carrying approximately 4 tonnes of straw. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. Trailer with straw moved to nearby field for crews to damp down remainder of straw.
