At 23:40 on Tuesday, 21 December, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

This incident was a false alarm caused by steam, full inspection carried out using short extension ladder and thermal image camera
