At 14:05 on Tuesday, 4 January, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire involving cooking and a grillpan, 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera in use.
