At 12:07 on Saturday, 14 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

1 vehicle 50% involved in fire caused by mechanical defect. Crews extinguished usning 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets.
