At 18:32 on Friday, 20 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a car fire possible caused by and electrical fault. the fire was extinguished by the owner prior to the arrival of fire service personnel. Misting lance was used to cool hotspots.
