At 07:53 on Sunday, 29 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Skip Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a skip fire with waste materials, crews used one length of 70mm hose, two breathing apparatus, drag rakes and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish.
