At 20:16 on Friday, 24 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Caravan Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a fire involving accidental ignition of a petrol can - no damage to caravans.
