At 20:40 on Friday, 26 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bonfire in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Large bonfire consisting of approximately 2 tonnes of garden shrubbery.
