At 16:41 on Monday, 29 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident involved a grill pan which was extinguished by the occupier prior to arrival of fire service personnel.
