At 10:42 on Friday, 16 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Lawley.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Smoke reported seen coming from vehicle. However, no obvious signs of fire upon arrival of crew. Contents of 1 bin lorry emptied and damped down.
