At 09:38 on Friday, 11 November, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Whitchurch.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Market Drayton, Prees, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving silage and tyres
