M54 E J3 to J2 Shifnal

Station ground: Telford Central

At 17:42 on Tuesday, 22 November, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm caused by a blown turbo. An appliance form West Midlands Fire Service was also in attendance.
