At 19:24 on Thursday, 29 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

This incident involved a domestic bin which had caught fire due the disposal of hot ash. The fire was out on arrival of fire service personnel.
