At 08:28 on Friday, 6 January, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

False alarm due to fumes from burned cooking.
