At 11:46 on Monday, 6 March, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm. Full investigation carried out on foot and using thermal imaging camera. No signs of smoke or fire and ventilation system inspected on roof of building
