At 13:58 on Monday, 6 March, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

1 pick up truck fully involved in fire which crews have extinguished using 2 hosereel jet. Hotspots have been monitored using thermal imaging camera and cooled with hosereel jet. Road closure in place due to fuel spillage across the road.
