At 14:32 on Sunday, 6 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Environment agency equipment
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

1 saloon vehicle fully destroyed by fire, crews used 2 hose reel jets and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire along with an environmental pack.
