At 17:06 on Thursday, 17 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Fire involving 1 tonne of smoldering wheat within grain store. Crews used 2 hose reel jets, 2 triple extension ladders and 1 thermal image camera to dampen down.
