At 08:59 on Thursday, 31 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Small fire of leaves and debris in rear of road sweeper alight. Crews used two breathing apparatus' and one hose reel jet to extinguish.
