At 22:24 on Saturday, 2 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wem.

Reports of a carbon monoxide alarm sounding. Believed to be caused by fumes from log burner. Fire crews extinguished fire in log burner and property was fully ventilated
