At 17:18 on Monday, 11 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One saloon vehicle smoking, battery had been disconnected prior to Fire Service Personnel arrival, crews are continuing to dampen down the area.
