At 19:36 on Wednesday, 4 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford.

Reports of chimney fire which involved 1 wood fire. Fire crews extinguished using chimney rods, thermal image camera and stirrup pumps. Chimney was reinspected at approximately 00:36. Occupier was advised to have chimney swept before next use.
