At 23:43 on Wednesday, 4 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford and Tweedale.

Automatic fire alarm activation which proved to be activated by occupier vaping underneath detector head.
