At 19:29 on Monday, 9 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving kitchen of domestic property. Crews extinguished fire using 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets, and gave advice to occupant.
