At 17:50 on Saturday, 14 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Alarm activated due to over heated tumble dryer. Thorough inspection carried out using thermal imaging camera and advice given.
