At 15:45 on Monday, 4 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford.

Reports of skip on fire which involved a small fire within the skip. Fire crews used hose reel jet, drag rakes and thermal image camera. Fire was caused by careless disposal of hot coals
