At 08:28 on Monday, 11 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Whitchurch .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Whitchurch.

Tractor in open 100% damaged by fire and trailer 20% damaged by fire. Fire spread to 40 metres of hedgerow and road surface. 4 breathing apparatus and 1 main jet used to extinguish fire.
