At 00:35 on Tuesday, 12 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

1 tumble dryer fire which was out on arrival. Crews carried out a thorough inspection of building.
