At 00:07 on Thursday, 4 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident involved a smoking washing machine in property, crews have assisted in the removing of the appliance.
