At 14:43 on Wednesday, 17 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident involved a smoking washing machine that was found to be out on arrival of fire service personnel.
