At 16:29 on Monday, 22 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Automatic fire alarm activation which proved to be a false alarm due to unattended cooking left on hob. Fire crews used tools to gain entry to property and 2 breathing apparatus and ventilation
