At 09:25 on Tuesday, 23 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Bridgnorth .

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

One horse down in stable, lifted to feet using medical strops.
