At 16:49 on Sunday, 28 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

False alarm, good intent. Upon arrival, Fire Service crews confirmed controlled burning.
