At 17:27 on Monday, 29 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Ellesmere. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm due to fumes from the heating duct.
