At 20:53 on Tuesday, 6 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

This incident was a false alarm good intent. One car stuck on grass and excessive attempts to remove it caused smoke in the area.
