At 13:28 on Saturday, 10 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Telford. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to a mechanical failure on a vehicle.
