At 14:04 on Thursday, 29 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews carried out full inspection of chimney using thermal imaging camera with no high levels in temperature. Advice given to occupier to have chimney swept before lighting a fire.
