At 20:21 on Saturday, 2 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involved a chimney on fire, crews used a stirrup pump and chimney rods to extinguish and a thorough search was carried out at the property using a thermal imaging camera.
