At 09:06 on Saturday, 18 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Ludlow.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Ludlow and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Crews rescued 1 dog stuck in area next to cliff face using rope rescue equipment
