At 17:35 on Thursday, 23 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

1 JCB fully destroyed by fire- crews extinguished using 2 hose reel jets and 2 breathing apparatus
