At 08:44 on Friday, 7 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of black smoke in area which was found to be a controlled burn.
